Tonic Facial Balm Monograph

Unguentum Tonicum Faciei — Formula Restitutio

I. Description

A replenishing botanical balm formulated to support skin barrier repair, ease

dryness, and softly calm inflammation.

Rich emollients and traditional vulnerary herbs nourish and protect the

complexion, while aromatic resins and citrus lift the senses — a daily restoration

ritual in the palm.

II. Composition & Virtues

Base oils — Avocado, Wheatgerm, Evening Primrose, Jojoba, Apricot Kernel

→ Deep nourishment; essential fatty acid replenishment; barrier support

Comfrey (Symphytum officinale)

→ Cell-regenerative; soothing to irritated skin

Calendula (Calendula officinalis)

→ Healing; anti-inflammatory; guards fragile tissue

Essential oils of Frankincense, Benzoin, May Chang, Cypress, Lemon Myrtle

V. Application

Warm a pea-sized amount between fingertips and press into clean, slightly damp
